The Bloodbuzzed Jukebox Week 240
We are so tempted (again) to devote the post to enumerate all the ridiculous, embarrassing and/or shameful political actions that are happening around the globe right now, from the uncontrolled fires in the Amazon and Siberia (let's thank their respective dictators for the great job done), the dramatic refugee and migrant crisis, with the supposed leaders of the free world from the States and Europe behaving like straight fascists, or basically looking at their own navel (elections coming soon), doing nothing for humans being suffering... Oops we already did it. Sorry for the rant, but this are simply disgraceful times. Luckily, we can take a break (or momentary shelter) in music, so here's our new TOP TEN JUKEBOX, full of gems awaiting to be discovered (some standout tracks here, guaranteed), plus the stunning comebacks of Whitney and Blog 'old pals' The Weeding Present. A way to avoid falling into pessimism and bleak reality. So, please enjoy, take care, and remember to join us in our Soundcloud page.

The Bloodbuzzed Jukebox Week 239
Finally it's Friday! Because who says there is no one working at the office in August? Well, there's still some crazy people (like us) going around and getting up early (with the same expression as you at the subway, meaning why are we here and still working?). While we discount days for our desired holidays (not until September this year), we continue bringing you some music discoveries, because luckily for all of us, good music doesn't take holidays either. This time, with a very varied and eclectic TOP TEN JUKEBOX where you can explore and immerse yourself in different musical styles and rhythms. Have fun and remember don't forget to join us in our Soundcloud page.

The Bloodbuzzed Jukebox Week 238
This post was supposed to be about our latest batch of exciting music findings, packed in the latest TOP TEN JUKEBOX, accompanied by some references on how unpleasant and uncomfortable is living under a permanent heatwave in and even more disgusting Barcelona in August. But the great David Berman, one of these criminally underrated music genius, passed away this week. We were just starting to unveil his new, out of the blue, songs under the moniker of Purple Mountains (as expected, several gems awaiting to be heard), getting excited with the chance of a tour that would include Spain (a Primavera Sound with Pavement and Berman, can you imagine?) but reality has shown its most brutal face. Deeply sad. Although we admit it has been somewhat heartwarming to see how many people have shown their love for the (not so known, we thought) artist online. We are certain the best way to pay a tribute to this wry indiepop poet is recovering/discovering his amazing legacy (if you don't know about Silver Jews, you're about to enter into a goldmine, enjoy), as well as searching for all the stunning tunes that are available out there like, maybe, the ones we propose in our Soundcloud.
