The downward spiral never ends. Looking at the state of current affairs, it's a disastrous week, with scenes we are, shamefully, used to see in Gaza, plus a despicable situation at the Spanish Southern border. Seriously depressing stuff. Luckily (what an incredible contrast), the music week has been stunning, a rare TOP TEN JUKEBOX where tunes just seem to flourish for you to grab. To the usual dose of discoveries (including a jangly gem in German!) a coalition of heavyweights has aligned to the rescue, crowned by the reunion of Sharon Van Etten and Angel Olsen, a dream come true.
